talented designer who, until recently, was an editor at SoHo
Publishing (the folks who bring you Vogue Knititng, KnitSimple and
knit.1) will be at Knitty City to discuss her experiences in the world
of craft publishing and design. Following this free talk, Tans will
be conducting a workshop on one of her popular hat patterns: Eowyn.
Inspired by her favorite character in the Lord of the Rings trilogy
´Eowyn' is a slouchy beret with an icord cast on edge, topped off
with a pom pom, and is suitable for year-round wear.
The class also provides a good opportunity to learn cabling and the
art of pom-pom making!
