Aghans for Afghanistan Tribute
Many thanks to those who knitted, sent, delivered and/or came to the
store last evening to sew up the many donated squares that came in as
a tribute to Peter Bergmann. You will be pleased to know that we were
able to create 5 (count 'em: 5) beautiful afghans. The blankets will
be sent out on Monday. This community effort is a tribute to the
spirit inherent in our favorite art form and a measure of the
esteem in which Peter Bergmann and Kay Gardiner and their family are
