When I run purl() on my .Rnw file, the R codes show up as something like this:

## ----simplecal1, echo=-1, tidy=FALSE-------------------------------------
# Some comments
15+10
12/6
.7*5

Is there a way to exclude the chunk headers (## ----simplecal1, echo=-1, tidy=FALSE-------------------------------------) ?

Thanks!

I believe that you can include

documentation=0

inside your purl() call.  See ?purl.
