Dear KWS Gang,

I believe Signature Theatre is dark this week now that "Threepenny Opera" has closed and their next production, "Cloak and Dagger" doesn't start until June 12th.  That being the case, we'll meet at our usual back up location (if folks want to try another place, speak up!)

In case you're not on the email lists for some of our local yarn shops, here's an update.

Looped Yarn Works at Dupont Circle is kicking off World Wide Knit in Public Day (WWKPD) with "Stashed."  Here is how Stashed works:  Bring in your stash yarn (in its original packaging) from June 17th - 22nd. They'll sell it for 20% off the original price. You'll receive 70% of the sale in the form of a Looped gift card. If your yarn doesn't sell in 30 days, you can either have it back or donate it to [Link]Scrap, DC.   Looped will be celebrating WWKPD on Sunday, June 22nd in Dupont Circle from 3-5 pm.

Fiber Space branching out into knitting with beads by offering kits in the shop and workshops on the topic.  Finally!  It would be perfect if they tied something in with Potomac Beads which is right across the street from them.
