Fifty-one Iraq war protesters who said they wanted to deliver a mock
coffin to Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld were arrested Monday
after crossing a temporary barrier near the Pentagon.
The arrests followed a generally low key anti-war protest marking the
war's third anniversary. To the beat of a muffled drum and a ceremonial
peace bell, about 200 people marched from the Lincoln Memorial across
the Potomac River to the Defense Department headquarters in Arlington,
Va.
Demonstrators chanted, "Peace now," as dozens among them crossed the
fence and were taken into custody. Pentagon spokeswoman Cheryl Irwin
said the 51 arrested were given misdemeanor citations that require
their appearance at a federal court, and then they were released.

These idiotic drones did what? Nothing, really. But, they crossed a
line. What line? They broke the law. Why do they believe they have a
right to break the law?
Let's be honest with the true facts we now know about the Vietnam War:
the Viet Cong were a horrifically wicked group. They murdered millions
of Vietnamese thanks to the work of the global "peace" protesters.
Today, Vietnam remains a totalitarian prison state.
Ever spoken such things to a leftist?
How do you answer such a thing?
Why doesn't the media tackle such an issue?
The only leftists or even liberals I have ever met who could even deal
with such questions, they, too, found themselves condemning the
hippies.
It is a question. It is a fact. These people served the horrible Viet
Cong. They knew it then and they know it now. Why, then, has there been
so little repentance over these 60s protests and so much continued
celebration?
It is true. The US fought the war poorly. Had the Americans been more
for the war effort we would have found our top brass more willing to be
iron fisted against the Viet Cong. Regardless, the administrations of
those days fought poorly and good people, Americans, died as a result
of it.
But, as much of that blood is on their heads... all of it, that on top
of it, and the lives of all of the Viet Cong murdered and all of the
Vietnamese victims after the war are on the heads of the great 60's
"peace" protesters.
Now, what? Reality. They want the US to withdraw from Iraq. They know
this will help the terrorists and hurt the nation of Iraq.
They do not care.
That is "peace"?
And let us face facts: none of these protesters are unbiased. They are
all anti-American. They hate God, they hate Christians, and they hate
Jews. They hate freedom. They hate democracy. Laws, like this barrier
they crossed yesterday, those are for other people.
They are the Nazi they always claim Bush and others are. They are
always calling everyone "Nazi", it is they who are the
totalitarianists. It is they who demand conformity. It is they who
demand that their thoughts, their word, be put before democracy. They
are the tyrants.
Their invisible enemies do not exist. Not yet, no, but they will... and
they are the creators, these very same supposed enemies of dictatorship
and fascism, they are the proponents of this very system they claim to
be against.
Today, we do not see this totalitarian system of wickedness in the
United States nor in the Free World. They protest against us as if it
were there. So how well it makes sense then that when it does appear it
will be they who brought it forth.
