This is all too typical for Leftists. It is similiar with Islamists and
Fascists. They tell themselves they are "populists" and "for the
people"... but if evidence shows them wrong, they do not care. Then,
they consider the people stupid and needing their guidance.

These leaders portray themselves as friends of the poor, but they
consider themselves morally and intellectually superior.

This is why... when they do get into power... they always show their
true nature.
