What to do About Iran

We have few choices about Iran today.

They are currently mocking the world by lying to them. They are a huge
economic power. They are a very populous nation. Most of their citizens
are opposed to the fanatical powers.

We should have little faith in the capabilities of our intelligence
agencies
as far as helping supporting the people against the regime goes.
Collectively,
they have proven themselves completely incompetent at such
activities...
and in no small part should the blame be put here on the international
left who support these Fascist Islamists.

The way things are going right now is Iran will continue to mock the
international community and they will build their nuclear bomb. They
will
then build an arsenal. By this time it will be too late. They will
either wait
to give nukes to terrorists until they have an arsenal, or they will go
ahead
and give it to them. They do not care about taking credit. Time is on
their
side. The more we wait, the less important this issue gets... as far as
the
world's attention is concerned.

Worse, militarily, they would be very difficult to attack. This would
destabilize
Iraq. It is very difficult to know who is on what side. China and
Russia are
both in Iran's pocket.

Maybe targeted attacks against their nuclear facilities may be
performed.

Realistically, I doubt we will have the strength to do even this.

What should be done? We should be preparing for war. We should be
first, attempting to contact internal forces. We should be focusing on
Iran
above all else. We should be using Iranians abroad, friends of the
West,
to do this. We should be sending masses of agents across the border to
do this. We can disguise them as Persians. We should now already be
training masses in Persian.

As we have been lazy and weak, such options are dwindling away. At
best,
we may have the option of striking their primary government and then
just
sitting back and wait to see their reaction. Strike them when they are
in
large meetings, all together. Do it fast and get out.

This, too, would be difficult to do. It might still require mass
infiltration.

Iran has been targeting the US for years through terrorist groups.
Unless
we start to fight "asymetrically" with our strength, but keeping to
holding
off on civilian casualities we have little chance of coming out on top
here.

There is, at least, some chance that we may be able to decimate their
rulers, after firmly warning the world of our intentions, and then
allow for
whomever to take over after this.

Or, we could play hardball with China and Russia, which would
momentarily
destabilize the global economy. We could force them to allow us all to
get tough with Iran.
