Possible Choices for Israel: Considering Latest Rocket Attacks from Philistines

a reaction to this kind gesture. Israel starts bombing Gaza... and
people
start talking about how Israel pulled out only so they could completely
decimate Gaza... like that makes sense.
Then, we have the Lebanese situation. Hezbollah, no doubt egged on
by Iran - maybe some doubt - starts in with Israel. Israel bombs them,
the worldwide left, Islamists, and Neo-Nazis shout, "See, we told you
about
those Jews, kill em all!" ...
And here we are. Now Israel has pulled out of Lebanon. They want their
hostages back. The Hamas, a democratically elected terrorist group of
the worst magnitude, starts to bomb Israel.
Let us stop everything right now and consider the reality.
Israel can spatter bomb retaliate. That is what the terrorists want
them to
do. They would rather Israel start decimating Palestinians not doing
anything
then to lose they increasingly small pool of guys willing to die for
their cause.
It is, however, a natural reaction.
Israel could start to really bring the whole case to the world. They
could turn
the other cheek. Make sure everyone understands just how unfair the
situation is. But, the situation is already clear -- the world does not
care. The
Left hates the Jews and want them all dead... just like their brothers
in lies,
the Islamists and Nazis.
Other options?
I think that there are few options here. Eventually, any true believer
understands
the Islamists will all die. They understand the odds for Israel must
get worse.
But, what can be done today?
One, I think more Jews need to go to Israel. This means the Jews need
to
start really preaching to their own. The days of tolerating leftist,
self-hating
Jews should be over. The days of pretending that Israel is not the home
of
the Jews should be over.
It is true, I have recommended to some friends who live there, that
maybe they
should come to America for awhile. But, that is because they are
suffering such
incredible stress. They are already doing a good thing by being
there... and
it is doubtful that these other Jews will ever go there.
Two, Jews need to make better relations with Christians and figure out
that
situation. You see, I am an ardent supporter of them. I grew up reading
about
the Holocaust (and the Christian martyrs). I do not wish to own the
land over
there. I am for them. I can dialogue with them. They like me, usually.
Some,
usually a minority, keep up the lying myths that all Christians are
Nazis or
that we have none who really care or that anti-semitism begins and ends
with
us. That should change. There should be understanding, wariness - sure
-
but also understanding.
Much can be said here to Christians, but that is not the focus of this
article.
Three, what to do, strategically.
Israel does not have many options here. This is end game stuff. Their
first
priority should be to target and find the terrorists - including anyone
belonging
to the Hamas or Hezbollah - and then they should be arrested. If arrest
is
not possible, they should be killed.
Yes, the Hamas were democratically elected, but the Hamas is not a
political
party. They are a murderous cult bent on annihiliation of Israel. They
should
not have a voice.
Terrorists must receive the death penalty. Not because they are
"terrorist", but
because of their murderous beliefs and actions. That is, one must be
specific
here.
All force must be put towards the terrorists themselves. Obviously,
Israel is
limited in man power and resources. It is difficult for them to mix in
with these
groups. Even so-called "moderate" Muslims hate them. So this kind of
option
is limited.
This brings in another option: first, let me point out something here.
This is
not just Israel's problem, anymore then it is just India or Thailand or
any other
country's problem where Muslims are killing non-Muslims to sacrifice
blood
and flesh to their devil god. It is everyone's problem.
The only way to really deal with that, then, is to start targetting
terrorists - which
includes their supporters - all over the world.
Israel has tried targetted assassinations in the past, even if "Munich"
(the movie
and book) is fake. They made sure to show credit for these things. What
needs
to be done now, or what could help, is to start really striking these
guys and
not give credit.
Why is this? Because this helps to push along these haters just enough
to
get something more international going on. It is reacting to their own
methodology
and responding with equivalent force -- except one need only target,
for instance,
terrorist mosques, terrorist meeting halls, and the like.
What is crucial here is to do as they do, but moreso, to not take
credit for
the attacks.
Yes, this would mean an escalation of the current war. But, it must be
understood
that these people are fanatics and they are serious. Sooner or later
this will
happen. If it happens now, while they are relatively weak, it is much
worse for
them. If it happens twenty or forty years from now... it will be a
global, nuclear
war. And there will be so many more deaths between now and then... and
there
will be so many more deaths then.
These are hard statements, but they are true. Almost any other way and
it is
a lose-lose situation for Israel. If they actively start blowing up
mosques in foreign
countries, killing masses of terrorists... make it look like and
actually be...
the local anti-Muslims... the Muslims will start showing to the world
who and what
they really are so no one can mistake it.
Obviously, something like this would have to be done carefully. After
all, with
the Islamists screaming that they did 9/11 and yet still blame it on
the Mossad,
they can be scared that any foreign action like this would only justify
such
beliefs. Such actions would have to be entirely divorced from any
direct connection
with Israel. They would have to pay to mind all of the capabilities of
the local
law enforcement agencies. They would have to actually become local,
citizen,
vigilante forces. And they would have to be able to vanish like the
wind. They
would further also have to compelling use methods and means exactly as
what
is available to citizen vigilante groups.
Very difficult things to do.
