Hi All, If all wishes were horses, I would simply wait for you people to start paying up for the upcoming recollection without any reminders. After all, we all know that the last Saturday of every month is for our recollection. But that does not work. Only two people have paid up to our financial solutions engineer as I write this! Yes, it is that bad. 20k out of a monthly budget of 350k and only 5 days to go! Saturday 30th is five days away. That explains why I am writing this email. The recollection for the month of October is on and believe you me, it will be a truly inspiring experience with excellent facilitators. Heard of Fr.Manuel Castanyus? By the way, he was a Vet. doctor before he went to serve Him. He has moulded numerous Catholic professionals and priests in this town and he will facilitate the morning session and hang around for the lunch break for closer one on one discussions? He can't wait for the day. Dr.Andrew Ssekitoleko is also coming to facilitate the interactive discussion in the afternoon. We could not have found a more equipped professional. You may be aware that he had a stint lasting over 6 years outside the Catholic faith. After 6 years of minor seminary education, he left the Catholic Church during his university days and became 'born-again". Several years later, he came back to the Church after spending some time teaching discipleship classes at former KPC. His wit, knowledge and style is simply classy. Some of you got a little taste of his discussion sometime this year. He has the ability to engage you on any topic under the sun----a perfect candidate to moderate an interactive session! Of course, confessions and the celebration of Mass shall also be a key point as usual. This is why I have no option but to implore you to pay up 10k, 20k or more for this recollection to be a success. Again, only 10k! Plus, you really have to attend. I know you may have attended most of the previous recollections but you never know which event could alter your life for the better for ever. It is not enough that you pay up: you have to be physically present! Salvation is personal: it begins in your heart. But please, consider it important to bring a friend along. You never know; (s)he could have spent 10 years without going for confession or may be has never recited the rosary since high school. I know these activities look routine but don't forget they are spiritual and the impact is mainly spiritual---only known to the Almighty and the angels in Heaven Kindly pay up as soon as possible to help us prepare adequately and please, do turn up at 9am on Saturday and KEEP TIME. --Hello Cosmas Yes, I did get the "message"! It entered my inbox without prior notice and I did not know whether I was the recipient of the act of charity! Any way, I passed it over to Ann the Financial Solutions Engineer. Hope you go on to get into MIT as a grad. student! But please, don't miss our events when you are around. Jude Byamukama |
