I been wondering about this for a while. With a couple of companies
closing their doors, we're seeing some "rescues" of titles with the
retaining of the original english dub from the previous company. My
questions are do voice actors get paid on a one time "commission" and
if a title a voice actor has done gets "rescued" by another company,
are they entitled to some sort of compensation since their original
contract was with another company? Thank you if you do decide to
answer these questions Derek.

Ran,

Anime and residuals? Do...not...comprehend. Must...reboot...LOL
Anyway, because of the anime industry the way it is, the recording
that voice actors do is for one time payment only. Only if a project
is union and NOT anime would an actor get paid if it gets repackaged
or airs after the original run. Funny enough, I just got a $0.83
check the other week for residuals on CSI: Las Vegas. I did a dubbing
for that show about 12 years ago.
