I appeared at this con back in 2008. I have made a couple of requestes
from the new head of guest relations, Heather, to no avail. Maybe I
was late in making the request, maybe they already had enough guests.
All I know now is that I'd love to return, the con isn't until
November, and by that time I will be ready to re-enter the con
circuit. Maybe if any of you know how to get ahold of her, you can
subtley make the suggestion to have me back? Just a thought. I don't
want to get on her bad side.

Many conventions have forums where attendees can request which voice
actors/bands they'd like to see at the con. Back in 2008 a few of us
posted on the Ikkicon forum that we wanted Steve to be invited to
Ikkicon 2009. I don't know how much weight our request had with the
guest relations people, but I'd like to think that our input did play
a role in bringing him to Ikkicon that year. So if emailing the guest
relations contact directly doesn't work, maybe people can sign up with
the Anime Vegas forum and place the request there.

Steve, were you looking to focus more on West Coast conventions, or
would you be open to going to conventions anywhere in the US?

I really wish you could come to Louisiana, but they've filled their
quota for voice actors at MechaCon, methinks. I haven't seen you
since IkkiCon of (I want to say) 2008 or 2009, and that's just
entirely too long! MechaCon usually gets the same people every year,
and that gets kinda dull to me. Going to start branching out to Texas
again and find new conventions to enjoy.

As I recently found out, it appears there's a "theme" each year at
Vegas. This makes sense, since most of the people attending when I was
there, were from Bleach. Wait a minute: Since the MOC is Jerry, why
not make the theme Anime? No, wait, that's crazy! It has to be a show
theme, right??

As for conventions in general- yes, I'm keeping it local or as close
to local as possible this year. Won't be expanding to mid or east
coast till next year. But I miss all you guys. Loni- especially miss
you. Hope you're well. :)

I'm doing relatively well! Had a lot of stuff happen over the past
two years that's worthy of an autobiography, but I'm happy now, and
that's all that matters.

Maybe I'll save up enough money to actually go even farther West for a
convention! I've flown up North for Otakon 2008, so what's to stop me
from heading towards California? I'm always up for a good trip,
especially when I realize I'm going to see people I know.

OMG! I hope you can make a list of what conventions you'll be going,
with a little bit of notice because there's a big chance I'll be able
to make one of them (especially in California) even if it's not in the
state I'm living in currently!
I really hope to meet you sometime!! It's great to see you back! I am
glad you're still attending conventions! I've missed you as well!
