Hello guys I just made an account here so this is my first post. I am interested in rooting my android phone. Does anyone know if the Kingo Root application is safe? Does it contain viruses for windows when you run the software? Also will it install like a tracking thing on my phone that will infect my phone? Also if it isn't safe, how would you recommend I root my phone, are there any good rooting tools out there? Thanks for all the help!

I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 6 (2016) with Android 5.1 and I'm looking to root it to uninstall some OEM bloatware. So after a quick google this apk called KingoRoot looks promising but I'm worried about bricking my phone or installing a ton of viruses. So, if anyone knows if it's legit then answers would be greatly appreciated!

KingoRoot is software intended to provide root access on smartphones, tablet computers, etc. running all versions of the Android operating system from 4.1.2,[1] available since 2013.[2] There is another very similar Android application with the same purpose, KingRoot[3] launched at about the same time; the two very similarly-named applications are often confused.

CNET gave Kingo Android Root 3.5 out of 5 stars, [7] and Rick Broida, a CNET editor, says the KingoRoot app "makes rooting a one-click affair", while noting that it does not work for all devices.[8]

A long thread on the respected xda-developers Web site concluded, with detailed information and links, that the similarly named app KingRoot should be considered adware and malware, although it is often successful in gaining root access.[10]

I'm currently rooting a Samsung J1 Ace in Android 5.1.1 using KingoRoot in order to give Link2SD root access and move the apps, music, and other data files from its internal storage to a SD card. The internal hard drive has 8 GB and is almost full to the point where it can't update apps.

I've downloaded KingoRoot through the mobile browser as an APK file and enabled USB debugging. After a few minutes, it reports that the rooting process has failed and reports ERROR CODE: 0x15F6D5. I searched through forums and have found nothing on this error code.

I first connected it to my pc and then began the rooting process. After it began, the pc app of kingo root was blank and showing no progress bar but i was able to see that it was connecting to the internet, after sone time, it stopped communicating with internet and an app was installed on my phone 'Kingo root'.

Success of rooting process depends on version of your system and model of your phone.I rooted my Samsung Galaxy by installing apk directly on my phone. You can try using Master Root (English version) from this site: -rxxce/root_master__english_version_.html You just need to install then click the button - it worked in my case. After that I recommend installing SuperSU from Google Play.If you want to check phone for root, there's root checker app in google play

So if you are not able to root your Android device successfully, you can troubleshoot the causes and find out the correct solution like downloading the latest KingRoot version, unlocking Bootloader and so on.

Rooting your Android device allows you to get rid of the limitations set by your manufacturer like unlocking the operating system so you can install unapproved apps, update the OS, replace the firmware and so on. But before you decide to root your device, you need to pay attention to the following notes:

The failure of rooting might lead to several issues, and some of them are quite annoying indeed, like Data Loss, Stuck at Rooting Process, Unknown Network Error and so on. Below I'm going to show you how to address these major problems. Please learn your way around.

If the rooting doesn't go smoothly, it would cause data loss when it failed. Since rooting is something related to the core system of your Android, it's really a risk. Therefore, it's a must to back up your Android at first before getting rooted. If data loss happens after the rooting failed, I'm afraid that there is the one and only way - Android Data Recovery - to directly retrieve data after rooting.

Some have reported that the Kingoroot stop and stuck at 90% getting no further response. If this situation persists over 45 minutes, you should consider the possibility that the rooting failed already. To forcibly cease the process, you have to hard stop the rooting by holding down Home" and Power" buttons together until the screen dims.

Sometimes Kingoroot failed or stops at 90% due to unknown network error. In such a case, you should check out whether or not the network/router is working normally. If not, you might have to cease the process and re-install Kingoroot or try the alternative instead.

The program would check the root status of your Android Phone automatically. If your device hasn't been rooted yet, it turns out the result is as the screenshot below. Please click "Start" to continue.
