Supporting multi-cluster topology with on demand services

Hey all, I am working on a FOSS platform framework called kratix.io that is trying to take amazing application developer experiences (like knative) and make them amazing experiences for the platform/ops teams as well.

We have chatter with a couple of people in the community before, but since then have created a Kratix Promise to deliver Knative to a multi-cluster Kubernetes topology and then schedule applications to the correct clusters (e.g. your PCI compliant credit card app goes to the compliant cluster while your docs page goes to another. Staging gets certain deployments while production gets others).

The thing is, we know it can be better. Was wondering if the challenges around on demand providing (and scheduling) knative services across multi-cluster environments rings a bell, I would absolutely LOVE to collaborate with you and try to make your life easier so that y’all can get back to enjoying the best parts of knative!

I worked with Kratix before and I can say that if you are building platforms on top of Kubernetes, sooner or later, you will need the functionality that Kratix is providing to run and install projects like Knative.
