Announcement: Results of 2024 Knative Steering Committee Election

Greetings Knative Community,
On behalf of the Knative Steering committee, we are happy to announce the results of the 2025 Knative Steering Committee (SC) election results!
For this election, there were two openings and two candidates. The new SC members have been appointed by the Steering Committee without a voting procedure.
We have two new members, each of whom will serve a 2 year term ending in 2026 starting immediately.
David Protasowski (affiliation: Independent)
Matthias Wessendorf (affiliation: Red Hat)
We want to thank everybody for participating. Special thanks to our election officer Christoph Stäbler for preparing and overseeing the process, in addition a thank you goes to Dawn Foster and Josh Berkus for ongoing support on community stewardship.
