I have recently sent an email that we would like to participate in the GSoC program as Knative.

GSoC organization applications end on February 21st. To give the community a chance to review ideas, please submit your ideas by February 10th.

Also, after talking with CNCF, we are considering participating under CNCF. That is not defined for certain yet though. My hope is that this would not change anything for the potential mentors and their ideas. Please add your ideas to the existing ideas page in knative/community at this moment.
