Hello All,

We have been hitting a bug related to knative serving in our stack.

Below is the error we observe when the Inference services are deployed, the pods are not getting spawned.
"error": "admission webhook \"webhook.serving.knative.dev\" denied the request: mutation failed: cannot decode incoming new object: json: unknown field \"fieldsType\"",

I see that the suggestion is to upgrade the knative to 0.15.

Environment Details:
K8S version: v1.18.9
Kubeflow: 1.1
Knative: 0.11.2

Thanks and Regards,
Prakash Chandrasekar.

Hey Prakash,

The most important thing to do in this situation is to upgrade 1 minor version at a time, instead of directly to 0.15, because migrations need to occur between each version.

Here are the manifests you need to apply in the order they appear:

As a final note, please consider upgrading all the way to the latest version, which is 0.20, following the same procedure.

Good luck!
