I think smells should be their own dimension. Kinda like the time
dimension but more vibrant. Kinda like the space dimension but more
nostalgic.

Whenever I light an insense on a drab rainy day, the world swells far
beyond the 12 colonies of Kobol.

I think you're on to something Travis. I think smells are their own
dimension. I like to light incense on rainy days, too. The smell of
patchouli takes me back to the days when my friends and I would skip
school and roam around Spokane, eventually ending up at my parent's
house because we could smoke and burn incense there since my dad was
out of town all the time. Such a big deal when you're fifteen, to have
that much freedom! I also enjoy the scent of the ocean, even fish
sometimes because they remind me of the sea and Seattle.

See.... Now you're talking on my scent level. Smells can trigger
memories for me about more than anything else. Whenever I smell Double
Mint gum I have flashes of riding with my mom in her early 80s
mustang, her popping her gum, me going to spend my allowance.

Since it's raining now I better fire up a stick of Citrus Amber. Maybe
one day I'll take time to reflect on our Geneva community when this
brand of incense hits the nose-waves.
