New Year Message!!
Dear Knanyaits around the world;
Few individuals from our community personally took their time, money, and effort to develop an interactive forum for us. Now, we can use this forum to share good information, and ideas that impact our life and our community around the world.
We have to appreciate their selfless effort and convey our gratitude to them.
Recently, great deal of information floating around in some of the groups that are, extremely derogatory, and with heavy overtone of personal attacks. I believe the original intent of the Knanaya groups has been derailed and sidelined by some. My request to all of our Knanaya Community members; please use more civilize language to express difference of opinion. Please avoid; profanity, inappropriate, demeaning, inhumane, savage, belligerent, and personal attacks.
I personally spoke to several of the senior-youth in Northeastern part of USA. Outcome of the interaction from the youth was that, such style of email potentially leads in to serious damage of our community. I cannot overemphasize the importance of using decent language to express your personal view, perspective, and the difference-of-opinions in a political-discourse.
Therefore, there is a serious concern that, our youth, and senior-youth will turn away from our community. There will be a mass defection, and exodus rate in our community. As is the case right now! We are one, and we need to come together. Stop the bleeding [losing our second generation]. I believe this is more importance than the ecclesiastical issue which we have right now. Therefore, we, the community have to prioritize the issue with greater care and seriousness.
I wish you a wonderful and prosperous New Year for you and your family!!
I am unworthy to be, and I am the very least in our community. I have no moral right to ask to you be more civilized.
Sincerely,
Rajan P. Kuriakose.
