Army recruitment rally at Alappuzha fromMay 2-9, 2013 for male
candidates hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam,
Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Alappuzha and Ernakulam districts for
selection of Soldier Technical, Nursing Assistant, Clerk/SKT and
Tradesmen ,Soldier General Duty

Army Recruiting Office, Thiruvananthapuram (under the Army Recruiting
Zone -Bangalore) is conducting recruitment rally at Alappuzha for male
candidates for the following categories:

Soldier Technical,
Nursing Assistant,
Clerk/SKT and Tradesmen
Soldier General Duty

Candidates from following districts can attend the rally:

Alappuzha
Thiruvananthapuram
Kollam
Kottayam
Pathanamthitta
Idukki
Ernakulam

Eligibility:

Qualification:

For soldier nursing assistant category, candidates should have secured
minimum 40 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology
and 50 percent in aggregate for Plus-II.

In the case of graduates having BSc degree (Botany/Zoology/ Bio
Science) and English, the stipulation on the above percentage will be
waived. For soldier technical, 10+2/Intermediate pass in Science with
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English will be the minimum
educational qualification.

For soldier clerk/SKT category, one should have studied English and
Maths for Plus-II and should also have a minimum of 40 percent mark in
each subject and 50 percent aggregate in Class XII.

For graduates with Maths and English, stipulation of percentage will
be waived. Bonus marks for O+ level computer course certificate issued
by DOEACC Society in CEE exam will also be given. For soldier general
duty, one should have minimum 45 percent marks in each individual
subject in Class X.

For soldier tradesmen a pass in 10th/8th will be enough.


Physical Measurement

Weight: 50 kg for all (except soldier tradesmen, for which 48 kg is enough).

Chest: 77 - 82 cms for all categories (except soldier tradesmen for
which 76-81 cms is prescribed).

The minimum physical standards prescribed for recruits are as follows
- Height: 166 cms for soldiers GD and soldier tradesman; 165 cms for
soldier technical/soldier NA; 162 cms for soldier clerk/store keeper
technical.

Final selection will be based on the physical fitness tests.
