kmotion 2.15a crashing?

hi im new to this,

i have set up kmotion today and its working fine apart from at random points the live stream stops and the archive stops recording, 

in the terminal i type "kmotion restart" and everything works for a random amount of time,

there is nothing logged in /var/log/messages

i installed with the script and it all worked fine even boots with linux just that one issue

any ideas?

Well its been a few years since I worked on kmotion but from what you said I would say motion has stopped, its probably chocking on a camera, I would advise turning all cameras off except one try that for say 24 hours, then turn that one off and try the next etc to narrow the problem down

hi thanks for the help, i don't know how this helped but i un-ticked in the settings low cpu mode and now everything works fine,
