Does anyone know if the kmotion project website has and is still down?
I'm trying to go to kmotion.eu but my DNS server(s) claim "domain not found"

Any advice?

Thanks,

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

I handed over the kmotion site a year or so ago, I still keep the
light on here for tech support etc and will re-launch things when
kmotion3 is completed but believe the site has been down for quite a
while, if DNS is saying "domain not found", then it sounds like the
domain registration has lapsed.

Can I help at all ?

Cheers

Dave

I cloned the kmotion v3 from the SVN repo listed in google code, but it just pulls an empty directory.

Where could I get the right SVN trunk for your latest stable code on kmotion v3. I'm currently using v2, but I totally forgot where I downloaded Dom.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, kmotion v3 is not there any more, it moved :)

v3 is nowhere near complete and not stable, if you were to install it
it would currently look like v2 but appear broken. I am currently
coding some software for my company which is taking longer than I
anticipated so v3 is 'on ice' till I finish this.

You can get the latest stable v2 from

http://code.google.com/p/kmotion2/source/checkout

Thanks, Dave.

By any chance, do you have an example of FOSCAM (IP camera)
configuration in your kmotion interface. I fill the data like in the
screenshot attached by it doesn't work.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

Nothing I can find, the easiest way is to port forward the camera and
email me off list with the IP, I will work out a config using my
kmotion and email you. You can then clear the port forwarding. I don't
need an image, you can hang a cloth over the cam if you like. Oh I am
working late tomorrow evening, next opportunity would be Thurs evening
GMT

Cheers

Dave
