Kmongo dependency problem in android studio.

Hi,
Am I experiencing an issue in android studio kotlin project. When ever I add implementation("org.litote.kmongo:kmongo:4.8.0") to my dependency and run my kotlin project I get the  error "Invalid build configuration. Attempt to create a global synthetic for 'Record desugaring' without a global-synthetics consumer." but when I remove this dependency and rerun the code the error does not appear again. My Kotlin version is = 213-1.7.20-release-for-android-studio-AS6777.52. Immediately after performing a sync when I add the dependency am prompted in my android studio to perform a migration action.
What's Working
Only the version 4.5.0 works for me. The versions 4.6.0,4.7.0 and 4.8.0 are all not working

I tried the version 4.9.0 but it produced a different error stating " Caused by: org.gradle.workers.internal.DefaultWorkerExecutor$WorkExecutionException: A failure occurred while executing com.android.build.gradle.internal.tasks.CheckDuplicatesRunnable "

 Also just after performing a project sync Android studio shows a Kotlin migration warning: "

 Migrations for Kotlin code are available 

 Detected migration:  

 Standard library: 1.7.20 -> 1.8.20 "
