Superoverlay works on regular Google Earth, but not on iPhone?

I have a website where I've made some sweet superoverlays which are
viewable on Google Earth plugin, and now I have a web app for smart
phones that does _almost_ the same thing except that the kml only
takes you to the scene, it fails to do the superoverlay, at least on
my iPhone it fails.
So before I go trying to debug my code, I just want to know if you can
even do that on Google Earth for iPhone. It was pretty exciting when I
put in that comgoogleearth url and it actually took me to the spot
where my kml was pointing! But then it was a big let down when the
superoverlay did not appear. :(
So can Google Earth for iPhone do superoverlays or not?
