Superoverlay Aerialphotograph for Earth and Maps?

Hi,
i created a very large Superoverlay for Google Earth.
Is it possible to use it also in Google Maps?
After i added the Superoverlay to Google Maps it slow down and i
believe during the zoom i saw that under the Google Maps tiles the
tiles of the Superoverlay are loaded.
Any suggestions?
