linking the PDF in google earth

Dear all,

i m not so familier with any of the coding languages available i have one small query regarding linking pdf in Google earth, i know to link photo using Picesa, but now i want to link some persional document in Google earth,

i would specify my file name is 

firstlink.pdf in "D" drive can anyone please help me.

You cannot link to a document stored on a local drive.

You can, if goto Tools | Options -> Advanced.

And tick "Allow placename balloons to access local content"
