Trying to convert some .txt files to KML

Need some help got some GIS crime data in .txt files and want to make
some kml files to diaply in Google Earth.

Any freeware or hlp to convert these would be great,

Hi Brad,

We'd need to know more about what format they're in. Is it CSV? Tab-
delimited?

Thanks for the reply I have these crime stats which appear like
this...

The data files are in the standard comma-delimited .txt file format
that can be accommodated by the majority of computer research and GIS
applications

I'm try to find a quick way to make nice crime stat maps in Google
Earth.
