problem with google maps- export to kml

hi

I'm trying to export route i did in google maps 

to kml file when i use " export to kml

it export the file to kmz - not kml

i tried with few computers and still the same

any one please help

Google My Maps now only provides a KMZ export. No longer supports KML directly.
