KML layers distorted in Chrome, fine in Firefox/IE

I made a question and answer page for a local city, and the KML layers are not displaying properly in Chrome. Fine in IE and Firefox.

I had extra XML tags in my header, so I simplifed to this below, but didn't help.

<kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2">

You'll notice on Firefox/IE, the green lines on the city of Sacramento come up immediately, however on Chrome, one line gets distorted across the river and then the display slanted.

I'm hosting the KML file on my website, at the root.
