At maps.google.com , paste the URL of the kml into the 'search' box.
Your KML needs to be publically available.

Another way to view it directly is type the following URL directly in
the browser:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=http://www.YOURKML.kmz

replacing the URL after the equal sign with the URL of your KML or KMZ.
