Refresh Interval + Refresh on Load

Just wondering if someone could help me out with a network link
refresh problem I've been having. I've setup multiple network links
with a 3 minute refresh interval pointing to online files being
overwritten every 3 minutes. However if any particular network link
isn't checked for a period of time, then the refresh interval count
isn't running, and you go back and check that network link again and
it will display stale data....if you leave it checked for 3 minutes,
the interval will kick in, but stale data has been showing for some
time at that point. Is there a way to force it to update upon
checking the network link as well as utilizing a refresh interval
while it is checked. Thanks in advance.

Hi ndoggac,

You could try setting the link's <viewRefreshMode> to 'onRequest'...
but I haven't tried that yet on my machine. You may just be running
into an undesired user interface behavior in Google Earth.. in the
worst case, you can right-click the network link and hit 'Refresh' to
manually refresh.
