Can anyone tell me if GE+ is capable of marking equally spaced coordinates on a line? I want to create some maps for bike rides around Colorado similar to what the folks at GeoBike did in the attached file. They have a point every 1/10th mile on the route and I'm not sure how to do it other than the tedious and inaccurate method of pasting placemarks.

G'Day saellis, As far as I know there isn't.
Pretty immpressive job by Geobike and it looks like a fair bit of effort went into creating their file. If you expand it you can see that they have used a combination of placemarks, overlays and a path all tied together with folders within folders. The 1/10th of a mile marks are all indavidual placemarks. It would be interesting to find out how they measured the distances, indavidually with the line measuring tool over the path or mabe they used a tempory grid overlay.
It would be tedious but there is no reason that it would be inaccurate.
I wonder if they used Plus or Pro to create their file?

It is classic points along curve quest
If you can use ArcGIS, see http://www.mi-perm.ru/gis/programs/slice3d/index.html
or http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat.php?Number=425270
In "Points along profile" (FREE function) you can select
1. Amount of points
2. Interval between points in terms of measurement of the map
3. Generalization
4. 'As is' (initial nodes of a profile line).
and include angle points.
