hi there everyone !
i use google earth every day !
but today, i opened it, and started looking at places, and these places i have seen before, but today they are all blur, so i waited with my super slow internet connection, for the pictures to download !
i tried to close it and open it again, nothing's different !
i tried to restart the computer and still the same !
i tried so many places around the world to check that the company didn't renew the pictures ! but all places are gone from my cache ! weird
i checked my google earth cache, and it was almost 700 MB
so the cache is ok
so what's the problem ! i mean, i had google earth since 8 months or so, i use it everyday !!!!!!
help please !!!!!!!!

Hi, try deleting your cache, there has been a recent imagery update, it could be there is a conflict with your cache and the current imagery.

Please let us know how you get on.

Cheers.

You prefer blurred images, obviously!

DELETE THE CACHE like the man told you.
It's likely to be your only solution!
Besides, most of your cache is OLD images, man!

Sounds like you need to upgrade your internet connection, somehow
(After ten+ years of dialup, I finally got ADSL
and wonder now why on Earth I didn't upgrade years ago!)

why dont you just go to where your cache files are, and rename dbCache.dat and dbCache.dat.index to dbCache.dat.old dbCache.dat.index.old

When google loads up it will think you have deleted them and will create new ones, you can then try and a look at the areas of interest again. If it is corrected then you know its the cache files, and sadly you will just have to delete them. If its not corrected you know your cache files are ok, so just close google earth, delete the new cahce files that have just been created and then take off the .old on your previous cache files and its as tho you never touched them!

i really appreciate your help, but i can't delete my cache and that's final, anyway, Google earth is downloading the pictures newly, and i still have my cache and it's like 700 MB !
i don't care about the hard disk, i have two hard disks attached both make 120 GB !
anyway, i surrender with my cache.
finally, i wish so so so so so so so much to get a new connection !
i am cursed to live in Lebanon, and we don't have any kind of connection except dial up, but in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, you can find a dsl, but here in my... "town" ! stuff stink around here, there's no mail !
however, i don't have a dial up, i have a kind of wireless connection, not provided by the government, and it's better than a dial up, the dial up's speed is only 28kbps while this is 56kbps ! and our connection have problems every hour, and costs 70$ per month !, i wish to have a new connection here !, i can talk to you guys because my brother has an internet cafe, and that's why we have this connection !
in Beirut, you can find dsl of 265kbps of 250$ a month !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
