KML and radar images overlay on google map.

We are trying to display weather radar images overlays on googel map.
I believe NWS offers some data in form of KMZ . I;m new to KML/KMZ can
somebody explain how can I parse/use the KMZ to show radar graphics
and other weather data on Google map and NOT google earth.

I would like to explain our need by referring the below URL. Something
like this we are trying to learn how to develop that.

Hi Milin,

Have a read through the KML documentation here:

especially the section documenting KML support in Google Maps:

http://code.google.com/apis/kml/documentation/mapsSupport.html

Also note that you can view a KMZ/KML in Maps by simply entering the
URL into the search box.
