Hi all,

Newbie here!

I created GPS place-marks in Google Earth Pro. I then attempted to use
the KML files to create a Google Map. Unfortunately, since my map
contains 350+ place-marks, I was unable to produce a google map that
could hold all place-marks on one page (paginated to 2 pages)

So I am back here, trying to figure out how I can do this in Google
Earth. Ultimately I want to create a map which I can embed on my
website. I am a real coding newbie, so much of this is over my head,
but by reading the Google EArth API FAQ, it seems this should be
pretty easy.......but thus far I am having no luck!

Any help GREATLY appreciated!

Hello again!

If you want a 3D version, then this post:
http://www.gearthblog.com/blog/archives/2008/06/easy_embedding_of_the_google_earth.html

might be of interest, lists a number of services (the 3rd in
particular) that can embed KML.

(most should be able to take the KML produced by the 'View in Google
Earth' link on My Maps, or even better should be able to directly
consume the KML produced by GE Pro, and uploaded to a website
somewhere...)

btw, the plugin should generally handle many placemarks better than a
Google Map would. At the cost of requiring visitors to have the 3D
plugin installed.

Thanks Barry -- you are awesome! It's funny - my first preference was
to use Google Earth anyway, since it holds all my POV (snapshot) info,
so this will help me a lot.

I am going to figure this sucker out!

thank you again, I really do appreciate it (don't know how people got
anything done without community forums before)

:-)
