I'm trying to create a map showing the London Boroughs on google maps.
I have a SHP file with the london boroughs and I used google earth pro
to create a KML file.

The problem I have is that the KML just won't load. I am very new to
google maps so it could be that I am just doing something wrong but I
have spent a lot of time following the various examples on the
internet and I think everything is ok. The other option is that the
KML file might be to large or it might have to many attributes. Could
this be the problem.

The map is at

http://www.tuckerza.com/map.html

and the KML file is at

http://www.tuckerza.com/london-edit.kml

Any pointers would be appreciated

Regards
David

Hi David,

Your london-edit.kml link seems to be broken currently.

I'd recommend looking at the KML Support in Maps page to see if the
KML is running into size and/or complexity limits:

http://code.google.com/apis/kml/documentation/mapsSupport.html

In the case that the KML is too complex, you can try simplifying your
shapefile data.

tools, do share!!**
