Example php function to display KML file

Hi All,
I just discovered this world when someone sent me a bunch of
KML files - does anyone have an example function or piece of php code
for calling Google Maps that I can pass a KML file to display the KML
info,

My hope is to build a php page with a 400 x 400 cell and display my
map and KML info

This is my first venture into this world of maps and KML files - many
thanks fro any help.

You should use the Google Maps API. You can create a kml overlay with
GGeoXml: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/services.html#XML_Overlays

You might want to check out the google earth api, http://code.google.com/apis/earth/
kml files are better supported in the earth plugin
