I have created a KMZ with a uncompressed TIFF. The source of this data
is from a ArcGIS Grid file with discrete pixel boundaries

If I open the TIFF in an image viewer, the image is clear (see
sample)

However when I view the KMZ in Google Earth, the boundaries between
pixels is blurred and the image is rendered unreadable.

Is there anyway to force Google Earth to not interpolate or anti-alias
the pixels and show the TIFF clearly?

Thank you to anyone who can help!

As far as I know there is no way to disable the interpolation on
overlays. You're only option is probably going to be creating the
source image in much higher resolution. But then you might need to
create a SuperOverlay to display it in GE if resolution exceeds about
2,000x2,000.

Or, you might be able to convert the data from image overlay to
polygons if the source data is available in SHP or other common vector
format.

Thanks Matt,
The data is too complex for shapefile I'll check out the super overlay
at a higher resolution and see what I can find.
