I'm wanting to convert a KMZ file to CAD format. Is there a converter
tool/ plugin or other for google-earth that will do this?

Hi pstyle,
SketchUp Pro can import and export to CAD formats, including dwg. If
you're just talking about the 3D model in a KMZ file, you could use
that to do your transfer.
