Google DOCS and KML Serverfile

It would be nice if you were able to upload kml files on Google Docs
page to use it as a kml server. I am wanting to develop kml and can
do it on a local machine and share, but when I try to use the plug in
for GE, or GM API it want's the kml posted to an http website. I do
not have a hosted website to post the information to. Google Docs
would be another feather in Google's cap I think for uploading kmls to
and using them with the GE Plugin, and GM!!!

Anyone know of anyplace to upload files to (http) to work with GE
plugin, etc?
If the google team is reading this then allow posting to google docs!
After all KML is still the language of Google Earth/Maps!

You could use Dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/) and put your kml
files in your public folder.

That is a great project, I have develped a pretty extensive one on my
local machine to develop KML for data colected on trees in my city.
The data is collected and entered into Excel, then I have programmed a
button that exports the KML. Not sure how to attach the kml to share
it if folks are interested. This comes close, but take several
steps. Google would do one better if they allowed a kml service that
you could just post your kml code to, and call up using the API.
