Export KML to EPS or other vector format

Is there any way to export a kml file (which is a route created with a
GPS device) as an EPS file or some other vector based format that can
be opened in Adobe Illustrator?

Global Tracker seems excellent, but since I'm only doing this once and
would never use any of the other features it's more than a little
pricey.
I was hoping for a free solution, but it's good to know that I could
contract someone who has Global Tracker if I need to.
