Using OpenSceneGraph, I successfully converted a collection of 3D
models from .flt format to .dae. I also then imported them into Google
Earth with little problems. Now, when I try to submit these models
(Upload them to 3D warehouse) I receive an error message:

Invalid Collada file. The uploaded file must follow either the Collada
1.4.1 or Collada 1.5.1 schema specified at http://www.khronos.org/collada/

Also, side questions:

Is it possible to work with a .dae model in Google Sketchup? If not,
what would be the next best thing?

Hi arwise,

You should validate your COLLADA file against a COLLADA XSD schema
before submitting, just to be sure it is compliant with the spec--to
validate, you can use a variety of XML tools such as xmllint or an XML
editor such as oXygen.

You can find more info on SketchUp's COLLADA export functionality
here:

Actually I can't find Collada 1.5.1 schema on http://www.khronos.org/collada/.
The newest version is 1.5.0. I wonder if there's any error in the
message from 3D Warehouse.
