I need help.

I edit an awesome thematic map with stacked chart  in ARCGIS, and hope to show in Google earth.
I try to use the tool of ARCMAP, layer to KML; but can't get good quality KML.

Can somebody give me suggestions?
How to convert the stacked chart from ARCGIS map to KML?  Many thanks!

Hi there,

It sounds like there may be a bug in the KML export from ArcGIS.
There are some 3rd party tools (such as Arc2Earth) that have
alternative methods for exporting KML from ArcGIS, but I have no idea
if they support exactly what you are trying to accomplish.

If you want to post a link to your KML and a more detailed description
of what you want it to contain someone here may be able to provide
advice on how to fix the KML. Alternatively you may wish to post this
over on the ArcGIS forums to see what is wrong with their KML export.

Cheers,

-Josh

BZ,
I personally think "layer to kml" feature in arcmap needs major
improvements on funcationality.
Anyhow, I think you're best to export the map as a transparent png
(high resolution one) and just use the image overlay in Google Earth
for this and save it out as KMZ for distribution to others.
Please share the link to your KML once you're done. I am interested in
seeing your map.

Thanks for your reply.

I posted the KMZ in our website, however, it can't assess from
outside.
The Arcmap 10 still doesn't work very well.
I have to remove them from official publishing because it is poor
quality.

Thanks for your reply.
