രാത്രി ഉറക്കമുണര്ന്ന ശേഷം സുബ്ഹിക്ക് മുമ്പായി നിര്വ്വഹിക്കുന്നതാണ് തഹജ്ജുദ്.
വളരെയേറെ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളതാണ് ഈ നിസ്കാരം. അത്താഴ സമയത്ത് എണീറ്റ് നിസ്കാരവും പാപമോചനതേട്ടവും പ്രാര്ത്ഥനകളുമായി കൂടുന്നവരെ വിശുദ്ധ ഖുര്ആനില് പലയിടത്തും പ്രകീര്ത്തിച്ചതായി കാണാം.
ആഇശ(റ) നിവേദനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഹദീസില് ഇങ്ങനെ കാണാം, രാത്രിയിലുള്ള നിസ്കരാം ഒരിക്കലും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കരുത്. പ്രവാചകര് അത് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടേ ഇല്ല. ക്ഷീണമോ അസുഖമോ അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടാല് പ്രവാചകര് ഇരുന്നിട്ടാണെങ്കിലും അത് നിര്വ്വഹിക്കാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
രണ്ട് റക്അത് മുതല് എത്രയും ആവാം. പരമാവധി പന്ത്രണ്ട് റക്അതേ നിസ്കരിക്കാവൂ എന്ന് ചില പണ്ഡിതര് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇശാക്ക് ശേഷം ഒന്നുറങ്ങി എണീറ്റത് മുതല് അതിന്റെ സമയം തുടങ്ങും. അത്താഴ സമയമാണ് ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമം. ദോഷങ്ങളില്നിന്ന് പൊറുക്കല് തേടാനും പ്രാര്ത്ഥനകള് വര്ദ്ദിപ്പിക്കാനുമായിരിക്കണം അതില് പരമാവധി ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടത്. പതിവാക്കിയവന് അത് കാരണമില്ലാതെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കല് കറാഹതാണ്.
കൂടുതല് അറിയാനും അത് അനുസരിച്ച് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കാനും നാഥന് തുണക്കട്ടെ.
