Black preview screen

I've been using KMediaFactory 0.5.2 for a while now without problems,
but last
week I decided to upgrade from Kubuntu 7.10 - 8.04. I'm now only able
to get
a black menu preview screen which is also burnt to DVD.

Is there anything I can try to resolve this problem? Going to take a
look at
the source code too to see if I can figure it out.

According to http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/kmediafactory I'm using
0.5.2-0ubuntu4 is that the same as 0.5.2.4?

PS I'm having to send mail to this mailing list via Google Groups
website as my ISP doesn't seem to like the email address.

No, I think it's 0.5.2.

Thanks Petri,

Downloaded the 0.5.2.4 source and compiled it, and it works :) Just
one last minor problem with it, in the progress window the progress
bar for fixing and processing the files flashes after about 4%.

Also, can I use the KDE4 version from within 3.5.9?

Yes you can. KDE4 programs can be run without running kde4 desktop.
