Hi all,

I am new to kmcos and python. I am trying to get up to speed and so please pardon my ignorance. I am running kmcos on Debian 11 and using venv. I have followed the steps outlined in

and when I ran MyFirstSnapshots__build.py, it gave me an error - 'kmcos' module has no attribute 'create_kmcos_model'. Am I missing the attribute in the kmcos module?

There is a file, supposedly the output of this example runfile_TOFs_and_Coverages.csv that I see. I suspect that is came along with the kmcos package and not what I have created.

Thanks,

Subramanian

It should be "create_kmc_model", but I assume that you have just made a mistake for what you wrote in your email.  I don't understand how that error is possible, for the situation you described. Because if your attempting to run "MyFirstSnapshots__build.py" was able to import kmcos, then the function should also have been correctly imported.

Maybe you should try looking through the intro2kmcos pdf and examples:

If you still have trouble, you may want to try switching to an Ubuntu virtual machine, since it's not obvious why you're having that problem.
