Welcome to the latest edition of KMaiL, a weekly e-mail update from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.

- - KML HIGH SCHOOL NEWS AND INFORMATION - -

= KML CULVER'S DAY =
Wednesday, February 4 is KML Culver’s Day in Jackson.  SIX student names will be drawn from the class with the highest sales! Winners will receive either a value meal basket, a 2-scoop sundae, or a concrete mixer. Our January winners were Lauren Klika, Brittany Breimon, Casey Schneiker, Emily Byhardt and Josh Murphy.  Congratulations!  Support your school next Wednesday, February 4th!  Bring your family, and friends to Culver’s!  Be sure to bring your coupon where you record the class and student you would like to win.  All of this is in addition to 10% of all KML sales going toward the Make a Joyful Noise Campaign.  If you forget to pick up your coupon at the front office or print your coupon from our web site, ask for one at Culver’s. Thank you for supporting your high school.

= DONKEY BASKETBALL =

Join us for a fun family event on Sunday, February 15 at 3pm, in the KML gym.  Teams from our Federation grade school staffs, KML staff, and KML students will compete against each other in a game of basketball, while riding donkeys. Tickets are $6 in advance (will be sold to KML students during lunch hour February 9-12) and $8 at the door on the day of the event.  We will also have a raffle for an iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 16GB.  Raffle tickets will be sold at 1 for $5, 3 for $10 and 7 for $20.  Papa Murphy pizza will be available in the concession stand along with the usual concession items.  All proceeds will go toward the cost of replacing two Automated External Defibrillator units at KML.

= THE CHRISTIAN'S PERSPECTIVE ON EVOLUTION =
Professor Paul Boehlke, a retired biology professor who taught at both Martin Luther College and Wisconsin Lutheran College, will give presentations on the Christian's perspective of evolution in the cafeteria at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School on Monday, February 16.
Some of the questions that will be considered include "How can we prepare our students to be successful in defending their faith in the Biblical creation account?", "Can Christians accept part or all of evolutionary theory?", and "How can we prepare our students to be successful in careers related to biology?"
A presentation specifically for teachers and pastors will be given from 1:00-3:00pm and a presentation for members of the KML Federation will be given from 6:00-8:00pm.  Please join us! Contact Matt Moeller at matt.m...@kmlhs.org or 262-677-4051 x1174 if you would like additional information.
