= YOUR GIFTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE… =
As a Builder, you help advance our mission to preach the truth of God’s Word. You make sure the facilities that help carry out that mission are paid for. You help the next student and family cover the cost of Christian education. We ask His blessing on this new year as we strive to reach our 2015 goal of 300 Builders. Have you joined the KML family of Builders yet at www.kmlhs.org/autogift ?
= CALL NEWS =
On Monday, February 2, the KML General Board extended divine calls to replace Mr. Deibert (English) and Mr. Mellon (Biology) who are retiring. Miss Rebecca Amann, from Christ - St. Peter in Milwaukee, was called to serve in our English department. Mr. David Kren, from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, was called to teach Biology. Please pray for Miss Amann and Mr. Kren as they deliberate where to serve the Lord in the public ministry. At the meeting, Mrs. Kayli Pesch, our Chemistry teacher, was issued another one-year call to continue serving at KML while she works to complete her WELS synod certification. In addition, Pastor Phil Malchow's initial 10-month call from this past summer was made permanent.
Join us for a fun family event on Sunday, February 15 at 3pm, in the KML gym. Teams from our Federation grade school staffs, KML staff, and KML students will compete against each other in a game of basketball, while riding donkeys. Tickets are $6 in advance (will be sold to KML students during lunch hour February 9-12) and $8 at the door on the day of the event. We will also have a raffle for an iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 16GB. Raffle tickets will be sold at 1 for $5, 3 for $10 and 7 for $20. Papa Murphy pizza will be available in the concession stand along with the usual concession items. All proceeds will go toward the cost of replacing two Automated External Defibrillator units at KML.
= THE CHRISTIAN'S PERSPECTIVE ON EVOLUTION =
Professor Paul Boehlke, a retired biology professor who taught at both Martin Luther College and Wisconsin Lutheran College, will give presentations on the Christian's perspective of evolution in the cafeteria at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School on Monday, February 16.
Some of the questions that will be considered include "How can we prepare our students to be successful in defending their faith in the Biblical creation account?", "Can Christians accept part or all of evolutionary theory?", and "How can we prepare our students to be successful in careers related to biology?"
A presentation specifically for teachers and pastors will be given from 1:00-3:00pm and a presentation for members of the KML Federation will be given from 6:00-8:00pm. Please join us! Contact Matt Moeller at
matt.m...@kmlhs.org or

= CONTRIBUTIONS NEEDED FOR CHARITY AUCTION =
There are many ways to make a contribution to this year's Charity Auction. We are always looking for items to be used in either the Silent or Live Auction. Cash donations are always welcome! Your company can be a Masquerade Ball Sponsor for $250 or there are also opportunities to be a Sponsor for the Wine Raffle, Beer Raffle or the Specialty Drink. The opportunity is still open to become the Main Event Sponsor too! For more information on how to become a Sponsor, contact Geoff Ziesemer at 414-397-4550 or geoff.z...@yahoo.com . The Art Department is helping with decorations for the Auction again this year and need the following supplies: Black heavy-weight paper, metallic Sharpie permanent markers, Sharpie WATER-BASED paint markers, Metallic Star Stickers, Stick-on jewels or other "bedazzlements." Donated items may be dropped off in the front office. Please deliver them by March 1.

Have you tried ordering your Scrip online at ShopWithScrip.com? It's a convenient way for you to order Scrip from the comfort of home or your office. You can either pay utilizing PrestoPay, for a small fee, or send a check in with your student, or when you stop in, and the cards will be ready for pickup. It's also a great way to check out the more than 650 retailers that Scrip gift cards are available from. Perhaps there is a store or restaurant that you frequent often that we don't carry in our To-Go inventory that could help you earn credit towards your current or future student's tuition.
We still have some small denomination gift cards on hand from Target $10 and Walmart $10. Please also note that the Scrip office will be closed on Monday, February 16th for Winter Break. Plan ahead.
