= CALL NEWS =
We are excited that Mrs. Rebecca Amann and Mr. Dave Kren have both accepted their calls to serve as members of the KML faculty.  Miss Amann accepted the call to teach in the upper levels of our English department.  She currently serves at Christ-St. Peter in Milwaukee and had served previously at Michigan Lutheran Seminary.  Mr. Kren will teach in our Science department and is currently serving at Wisconsin Lutheran High School and has been there for last 22 years.  Please keep them in your prayers as they transition to KML!
Mrs. Kayli Pesch, our Chemistry teacher, was issued another one-year call to continue serving at KML while she works to complete her WELS synod certification.  In addition, Pastor Phil Malchow's initial 10-month call from this past summer was made permanent.

= KML CULVER'S DAY =

Wednesday, March 4 is KML Culver’s Day in Jackson.  SIX student names will be drawn from the class with the highest sales! Winners will receive either a value meal basket, a 2-scoop sundae, or a concrete mixer. Our February winners were Reilly Paine, Nick Lipp, Lydia Glatzel, Jed Lyneis, Bryka Peterson, and Chelsea Smith.  Congratulations!  Support your school next Wednesday, March 4!  Bring your family, and friends to Culver’s!  Be sure to bring your coupon where you record the class and student you would like to win.  All of this is in addition to 10% of all KML sales going toward the Make a Joyful Noise Campaign.  If you forget to pick up your coupon at the front office or print your coupon from our web site, ask for one at Culver’s.  Thank you for supporting your high school.

= COUNTDOWN TO 2015 MASQUERADE BALL BEGINS =
Saturday, April 18, marks the date for this year’s auction to be held at the River Club of Mequon.  Proceeds will go toward the Student Tuition Fund and non-budgeted items needed by the Athletic Department.  We are always looking for unique items for our Silent and Live Auctions.  Do you have a particular craft or service you could offer up for bid (valued at $50 or more)?  Car detailing, window washing, and yard work are always big hits!
Plan a trip to New Orleans for jazz and dining!  This item will be featured in the Live Auction and includes round-trip coach class airfare for two to New Orleans, a three-night stay at the Hyatt French Quarter, VIP admission for two to the Preservation Hall of Jazz, and a choice of brunch or three-course dinner at Commander’s Palace Restaurant.  Winspire booking and concierge service will help make your trip worry-free!
For up-to-date information, go to kmlhs.org/auction.  Contact Geoff Ziesemer (414-397-4550 or geoff.z...@yahoo.com) about various sponsor opportunities for your company ranging from $250-$4,000.

= CONTRIBUTIONS NEEDED FOR CHARITY AUCTION =
There are many ways to make a contribution to this year's Charity Auction.  We are always looking for items to be used in either the Silent or Live Auction.  Cash donations are always welcome!  Your company can be a Masquerade Ball Sponsor for $250 or there are also opportunities to be a Sponsor for the Wine Raffle, Beer Raffle or the Specialty Drink.  The opportunity is still open to become the Main Event Sponsor too!  For more information on how to become a Sponsor, contact Geoff Ziesemer at 414-397-4550 or geoff.z...@yahoo.com .
The Art Department is helping with decorations for the Auction again this year and need the following supplies:  Black heavy-weight paper, metallic Sharpie permanent markers, Sharpie WATER-BASED paint markers, Metallic Star Stickers, Stick-on jewels or other "bedazzlements."  Donated items may be dropped off in the front office.  Please deliver them by March 1.
The Auction Committee is also looking for feathers, gems, ribbons, jewels, (and any other embellishments!) to be used to decorate masks for the Masquerade Ball.  These items may be dropped off in the school office.

= S(ubstitute) C(ash) R(ebate) I(ncentive) P(rogram) =
Did you know that March 31 is the last day to earn credit toward your student’s 2015-2016 tuition account. Rebates earned after March 31st will then be applied toward the 2016-2017 school year. Purchase KML Scrip for your regular purchases and earn rebates to bring down the cost of tuition. Don’t forget to use scrip on your not-so-regular purchases, too!
Planning to get away over Spring Break this year. Why not utilize Scrip cards for your hotel, gas, and/or meals. Hotels like Comfort Suites (3-4%), Clarion (3-4%), Hyatt (10%) and Marcus Resorts (9%) can be purchased to help earn money towards your child's tuition. It's a simple way for you to earn a reward while taking your family vacation.
We still have some small denomination gift cards on hand from Target $10 and Walmart $10.
For more information visit www.kmlhs.org/scrip.  For questions call 262-677-4051 x1119 or email sc...@kmlhs.org. Scrip Office Hours are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 - 3. CLOSED TUESDAY.

= REMEMBER ECHO FEST? =

We’re going retro this year for Family Music Fest 2015!  Remember Echo Fest?  Do you still have an old Echo Fest admission button floating around?  Please reserve Friday, April 17, from 5:00-9:00 pm for Retro Fest.  This event will support our music department.  In addition to our elementary school and high school musical performances, we will feature a chili dinner, games, auctions, and the dessert bar and will showcase the Grade School Art Fair exhibits.  Join us for a night of music, food, and family fun with some new surprises, special guests, and trips down memory lane.  Anyone presenting an Echo Fest button at the door will receive free admission!

We are asking for pie and basket donations for auction.  Please consider helping!  If you have questions or would like to volunteer or join the Family Music Fest Committee, please contact Andrea Semmann (414-588-7725 or alse...@gmail.com) or Ann Jahns (414-659-1511 or jahns...@yahoo.com).
