- - KML HIGH SCHOOL NEWS AND INFORMATION - - 

= GRADUATION =

   Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School will hold its thirty-ninth graduation service on Saturday, May 23, at 10:30am. Pastor Charles Raasch of Morning Star, Jackson will be the guest preacher. Pastor Philip Malchow of KML will be the liturgist. Student graduation speakers are Samantha Paton (St. John’s, Lannon) and Joseph Loescher (David’s Star, Jackson). The doors to the building will open at 9:00am. All friends of KML are invited to attend.

= MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE! =

   It’s not too late to give a gift in honor of a graduating student or retiring teacher.  Join the Builders and KML will receive an additional $500 from an anonymous donor as a thank you for your gift?   Your gift of $5, $50 or $500 per month will qualify for an additional donor gift of $500 to KML!  Visit our web site www.kmlhs.org/autogift where you can sign up right online or print the form to mail it in.  Your gift will honor our Lord and advance His ministry. The Joyful Noise you are providing is consistent, predictable income in support of our students that will help build their faith through a stronger school for generations.

= URGENT NEED FOR HOST FAMILIES =

   KML is in need of host families for two new male students from China for the next school year. One will be a freshman who has already spent a year in the US at an area WELS grade school. The other will be a sophomore and new to the US. Both students are eager to meet their new host families and hope to get to know them over the summer by email and Skype. Host families receive a stipend to cover expenses.  If your family is able to fill this urgent need or is interested in learning more, please contact Wendy Robinson at wendy.r...@kmlhs.org. 

​= GRADE SCHOOL CHEER CAMP =

   The award winning KMLHS cheer and stunt team will be conducting their annual grade school cheer camp June 2-5. This camp is designed for girls entering grades 1-8. All cheerleading skills will be taught including cheers, jumps, stunts, dance, and tumbling. The camp features theme days, team building games, spirit awards, and a performance for parents on the last day. Awards will be given in each level. = HELP WANTED =

   An Outside Maintenance position is open at KML.  The job includes athletic field prep and lawn care.  Part time seasonal, 20 – 30 hours per week, April thru November.  Contact Jody Hansen at 262-677-4051 x 1109 or jody....@kmlhs.org for more information.

= E3 - KML SUMMER ACADEMY =

   KML will be hosting various academic, fine arts, and sports camps this summer for both youth and adults. Please pass the information on to friends and family that would be interested in attending. Camp flyers and registration forms are available in the rack outside the KML main office, from your elementary school office, or on our website at kmlhs.org/e3 .

= S(ubstitute) C(ash) R(ebate) I(ncentive) P(rogram) =

   Another school year has come and gone and summer break is now upon us. Don't take a break from Scrip though. Make sure you keep up the great habit of purchasing your weekly scrip cards for all your summertime fun. Not only are the grocery store scrip cards convenient, but you can also purchase gas cards for your weekend getaways. If you know you'll be heading out of town to a specific location, check out what restaurants are available at your destination and pick up scrip cards for them as well. Using these little suggestions can help build up your tuition credit for your student's account.  Summer office hours begin on Wednesday, May 27th and run until Friday, August 21st.

= CROWN OF LIFE OPEN HOUSE & CONCERT =

   Get ready to go “hog wild” on Saturday June 13.  Bring your hungry friends and family to see the newly expanded church and school at Crown of Life in Hubertus  Free food & fun from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm followed by a free “Songs We Carry” Christian concert by Mike Westendorf from  6:30 – 8:00pm!!  Get a taste of Mike's music at www.youtube.com/watch?v=vycBMRF8pFg. Crown of Life Lutheran Church & School is located at 1292 Tally Ho Trail, Hubertus.  Don’t bring anything but your appetite!
