= HOST FAMILY NEEDED =
A host family is needed for Joey, a 16-year-old international student from South Korea attending Kettle Moraine Lutheran as a sophomore. He enjoys art, playing chess, cooking, video games, and movies as well as many sports, such as basketball, wrestling, track, football and water-skiing. Please open your home and hearts to this nice young man! Joey is very sociable, speaks English, pays full tuition, is covered by insurance and brings his own spending money. A host family provides a caring environment and receives a generous monthly stipend in appreciation. = E3 - KML SUMMER ACADEMY =
KML will be hosting various academic, fine arts, and sports camps this summer for both youth and adults. Please pass the information on to friends and family that would be interested in attending. Camp flyers and registration forms are available in the rack outside the KML main office, from your elementary school office, or on our website at kmlhs.org/e3 .
= SUPPORT YOUR KML CHEER TEAM =
On Saturday, July 11 from 9am-3pm the KMLHS Cheer Team will be conducting a car wash, bake sale and brat fry at the Piggly Wiggly in Jackson. Enjoy a delicious brat and some yummy baked goodies while you wait for your car wash. Come and support your award winning cheerleaders; proceeds will go towards the 2015-2016 athletic budget. We appreciate your support!

Have any special plans for this summer? Are you planning a week long getaway to another state or just a mini-getaway somewhere close for an extended weekend? Why not check out all the great Scrip cards that are available for the destination you are going. There are even Universal Cards from Discover (1.25%) and American Express (1.25%) that you can special order to help pay for all your purchases while on the road. There are even Scrip cards for most major hotel chains that you can purchase: Best Western (12%), Choice Hotels (3-4%), Clarion (3-4%), Comfort Inn (3-4%), Hyatt (10%) and Marcus Resorts (9%), just to name a few. With a little pre-planning you are sure to see your Scrip Rebate grow. The Scrip office will be closed the week of July 6th to July 10th. Please plan ahead.
= BYE BYE BIRDIE POSTER DESIGN CONTEST =
Do you have an interest in graphic design? Submit an entry for our poster design contest! Submit your design no later than Friday, August 14. Anyone can participate – any age, any experience level. = CLAY SHOOTING EVENT AT THE HIGHLANDS =
The KML Foundation is sponsoring a sporting clay shoot at The Highlands in Cascade on Sunday, August 9. This event will be a fun experience for both the seasoned hunter and the novice who wants to experience the fun and challenge of a sporting clay shoot. Save the date and watch for additional details.
